The Ring Chair is a set of casual furniture consisting of a chair and a footstool. What sets it apart from other designs is its emphasis on simplicity and truth. The chair's structure is stable and the manufacturing process is simple, making it both aesthetically pleasing and functional.

The chair's design features natural and ergonomic curves that conform to the shape of the human body. The use of Brazilian pear wood and dark gray thick hemp cloth gives it a composed and quiet appearance. The back of the chair is designed to be simple and generous, adding to its overall elegance.

The manufacturing process of the Ring Chair involves the use of modern technology. The main materials used are Brazilian flower pear wood, stainless steel tube, and thick hemp cloth strip. The solid wood parts are shaped using CNC machining technology and combined with a tenon structure, allowing for quick assembly and disassembly.

With dimensions of 950mm x 650mm x 950mm for the chair and 600mm x 450mm x 450mm for the footstool, the Ring Chair is designed to provide optimal comfort and relaxation. The chair's armrests are shaped like rings, allowing for a comfortable resting position. The backrest supports the natural curve of the spine, promoting correct posture. The footstool provides a place to rest your legs, making it perfect for activities such as reading or simply unwinding.

The design project for the Ring Chair began in January 2019 in Shenyang and was completed in June 2019. It was exhibited at the art museum of Shenyang Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts. The chair's unique combination of traditional Chinese elements and modern design principles garnered it the Bronze A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category in 2020.
